Book Club meets in the Relief Society room.

This is the 2nd Friday, "Maplewood Dance", that alternates with the major Metro Quarterly Activities, which are also held on the 2nd Fridays of the month.

Since 2010, Refreshments will no longer be provided by the stakes for the regular dances. The dances will be free. Please bring any refreshments or goodies that you would like to share, so we have food; (finger foods, chips & dips, cookies, deserts, fruits, veggies or anything you want). Cups, plates, utensils or a bag of ice and other supplies are also welcome. If you can, please help set up or clean up.

The Host Stakes of the 4 major Metro Quarterly Activities have the choice of having the event at the Maplewood Building or at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Meeting House or Stake Center Building of their choice.

The Houston Metro Single Adult Multi-Stake Activity Planning Committee (18 Stakes) now sponsors 4 major quarterly activities (dinner, dance, games/activity and occasional service project) during the year where they provide food and services, as well as a New Years' Eve dance/activity.

Three of the Houston Metro Quarterly Activities (February, April, and August) will be held on 2nd Fridays and will be held in place of the regular Maplewood Dance. These will be major activities with a sit-down dinner, dance, and games/activities, sponsored by 2 or 3 stakes.

In other words, there will be a dance or major activity, every 2nd Friday, event times vary. (Except December 14, 2012, There is no dance scheduled on this date as of yet.)

The major "Metro Quarterly Activity" will start at 7 pm.
The "Maplewood Dance", 2nd Friday dance will start at 8 pm.

Single Adult Book Club Information:
The book club will meet at 8:30 pm usually the Maplewood Building, a few exceptions listed below. This activity is coordinated by Helen Jackson and will be a recurring monthly activity along with the second Friday dance.
